The purpose of these toys is primarily to entertain the child. In addition to this, they offer the possibility to develop abilities and practice motor skills, but also to discover the principles of movement. There is always the force that starts and ends the movement. The children will learn the proper names of these concepts at a later stage, when they start learning the Physics.
